Dr. Doris Owusu, DNP is a dual-board certified family and psychiatric nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Doris earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Howard University. She also earned her Master of Science in Family Nurse practitioner (FNP) and post-master certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) from George Washington University. And earned her Doctorate Degree from George Mason University.
Doris has several years of experience as a healthcare provider. She provides evidence-based, compassionate, and comprehensive individualized care to all patients across the lifespan: children adolescents, adults, and older adults.
Moreover, while managing patients’ presented symptoms with medications, she also provides nutritional supplements treatment to better not only their mental health but also their general well-being.
Doris is experienced in the treatment of a variety of clinical concerns, including Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, psychosis, mood disorders like bipolar disorder anddepression, OCD, PTSD, and insomnia.
